Obtain data regarding quantities, specifications, and loading/unloading dates of products to customers in Logistics.
Created driver self-loading packets daily for all truck shipments.
Enter truck shipping electronically.Billing of Acid product leaving plant.
Email Certificate of Analysis and billing information to customers for all barges.
Train carrier drivers to self-load on the truck rack to loading procedure for each spot.
Audit truck rack frequently to verify carrier drivers are following procedure and wearing appropriate PPE.
Manage customer truck orders by verifying SAP with TMS and ensuring carriers are scheduling accordingly to the 3 day truck schedule.
Manage assigned customer inventory levels by utilizing customer inventory and rate reports and ensure the correct number of deliveries are assigned and delivered to sustain desired inventory levels. This includes contacting carrier daily to hold accountable to delivery schedule.
Coordinate carrier performance improvement efforts at the plant (product stewardship).
Assist in the investigation of customer complaints and recommend resolution.
Calculation of incoming and outgoing Acid product through barge transportation. Completion of Barge Manifest through calculation of inches to gallons.Obtaining analysis results to use in calculation of 100 % weight of product for billing purposes.
Continuously cross training with Logistics Clerk and Logistics Specialist roles (ex. Daily rail switching, daily rail loading instructions, TS receipts, other trucking customers not assigned to Logistics Coordinator.)
Work vacation relief for the Logistics Clerk and Logistics Specialist as necessary throughout the year.
Manage billing discrepancies for assigned vendors and suppliers.
Develops or revises standard operational and working practices and observes workers to ensure compliance with standards.
Coordinates loading/unloading procurement, maintenance, and quality control activities to obtain optimum productivity and utilization of human resources, machines, and equipment.
Utilizes Personal Protective Equipment per job task specification or specified plant location.
Performs other duties/projects as designated by supervisor, and parameters are indicative to average requirements that are not inclusive based on change in operational, safety, or environmental factors.
Inspects and monitors area for equipment failure, leaks and housekeeping on loading racks, tanks, and docks daily.
Attends Total Quality meeting weekly to address safety and environmental concerns and incidents as well as current safety performance on plant-site. Presents safety information and addresses current safety issues brought forth by personnel.
Assists in coordination of the safety training within the department.
Completes DOT HAZMAT employee training.
Develops and revises operational procedures including usage of proper personnel protective equipment for any new product.
Completes computer-based training as scheduled per supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications:

4 - 5 years administrative experience in chemical industry.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent
