About the Position:
The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for performing a range of tasks related to the warehouse operations, including supply chain and vendor management.
Essential Responsibilities:
· Coordinate product movement throughout the life-cycle of each shipment while working closely with internal departments and external vendors and customers.
· Monitor shipments from order entry through delivery to ensure on-time performance.
· Quickly and reliably resolve logistics service issues, escalating to management when necessary.
· Work with the regulatory and quality departments to ensure compliance with all pertinent regulatory bodies including FDA and OSHA.
· Maintain and report on appropriate metrics regarding the manufacturing, packaging, and warehouse processes.
· Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, safety glasses, masks, face shields, etc.
· Resolve supply, process, and equipment concerns, questions, and/or problems.
· Ensure that effective internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with established department SOP's, Company cGMPs, and verbal and/or written instructions.
· Comply with all Company policies and procedures, including safety rules and regulations.
· Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
· 3+ years of progressive warehouse, logistics, supply chain, and/or inventory management experience.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
· Demonstrated ability to interact with others in a professional, tactful, and sensitive manner.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
· Ability to work independently and self-manage and work well as part of a team.
· Proficient with Microsoft office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
· BA/BS in Business Administration or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
