PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist PM and Technicians wit various logistics support.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Diploma from high school, trade school or industrial school. Those with a GED should have two (2) years of relevant experience.
Two (2) Years experience of the Navy Ship Hull, Mechanical and Electrical (HM&E), Electronic and Weapons Handling Systems and Equipment that includes: a) experience in identifying material and logistic requirements for ship alteration and repair, b) experience with the Navy supply and procurement systems and procedures for requisitioning and purchasing material required to support ship alterations and repairs, c) experience in researching types and quantities of equipments allowed aboard ship, to include a minimum of one year experience in use of the Ship's Configuration and Logistic Support Control (SCLSC) database, d) experience in TDMIS to ensure APL/RIC information is identified and FTTD data is accurate.Mechanical and Electrical (HM&E)
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Successful applicants must either have an active government security clearance or the ability to receive approval upon position acceptance.
