RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensures that loaner vehicles are checked out and returned according to company and third-party policies
  • Makes sure that ready and returned vehicles are arranged in showroom, service, or designated area according to company policy
  • Properly create loaner vehicle agreements ensuring that clients provide driver’s license, insurance, and credit card
  • Effectively communicate information to service advisors, technicians, porters, and management
  • Provide a seamless handoff of the loaner vehicle to the client explaining the walkaround sheet, the vehicle itself and what is expected upon their return to the dealership
  • Create repair orders to charge clients for toll road violations, parking tickets, or damage to the vehicle
  • Daily check on existing inventory for compliance of our standards such as full tank of gas, cleanliness of vehicle and mileage
  • Check in vehicles as they come in from clients by going over vehicle for possible damage, excessive miles, cleanliness, and fuel levels
  • Files documentation with insurance or state or federal agency and in accordance with company policies
  • Ensure returned vehicles are washed, fueled, and ready to go for future clients
  • Maintain and adhere to rental policies and procedures

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • Experience at a rental car facility a plus
  • Experience at an automotive dealership a plus
  • Ability to drive manual a plus
  • Valid driver’s license

COMPENSATION:

The Loaner Coordinator Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of between $18.00 and $18.00. The position may also pay a production bonus based on individual or team performance that may range from $0.00 (if baseline benchmarks are not met) without any fixed upper limit.

  • This position pays hourly plus monthly bonus.
