Loan Administration Float Job at Southern Bank
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF JOB
Floats between the Loan Processing Department and Loan Operations Department to assist in generating loan documents, imaging loan packages, setting up loans on the CIF computer system and performing loan verifications as needed.

- Ensures the confidentiality of customer non-public personal information and secures information systems to comply with bank regulations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND PERFORMANCE AREAS
- Creates loan documents for all types of loans (consumer and individual commercial) in a timely manner according to bank and regulatory guidelines;
- Checks and insures that all proper authority has been received to create the documents;
- Inputs the new loan information into the CIF on the core system;
- Inputs any file maintenance on CIF;
- Maintains the document tracking for certain loans;
- Assists in imaging loan packages for all Loan Processing staff;
- Assists in loading release fees to core system;
- Would train on processing other types of loans if time allows and once the team member is fully knowledgeable on the two types of loans listed above;
- Assists with loan verifications;
- Assists with miscellaneous other job duties between Loan Processing and Loan Operations.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Previous experience/job knowledge in loan processing or loan-related functions is preferred but not required.
- Good interpersonal communication and computer skills;
- Highly attentive to detail and able to multi-task in a fast paced environment; and,
- Strong typing skills.
EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
