SEEKING LINE COOKS / PREP COOKS / GARDE MANGERS
Locate on the North Fork of Long Island, Claudio’s Restaurants is seeking talented and experienced Line & Prep Cooks, and Garde Mangers who share our passion for great food and hospitality and thrive in a guest-focused and teamwork-based environment. Applicants that are detail-oriented, with an upbeat attitude and high energy will be an excellent fit for our team.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Maintain a ‘Guest First’ atmosphere in the kitchen to support FOH Team
- Provide coverage or assistance to all stations as needed
- Ensure consistency of all recipes
- Upkeep and maintenance of the facility and its equipment
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitary standards in compliance with SCDOH standards
- Maintain a safe environment for all staff
- Help execute all ala cart and banquet service
- Be proactive
- Actively participate as team player with our property-wide organization
- Ensure that compliance with all COVID-19 related restrictions and regulations are adhered to including “leadership by example” with all team members.
JOB REQUIRMENTS:
2 years of experience in a high-volume restaurant- Excellent knife skills. Plating techniques and attention to detail
- Lift and carry 30+ pounds
- Flexible schedule, should be able to work nights, days, weekends and holidays
- Ability to work long hours standing, shifts will last up to 10 to 12 hours
- Suffolk County Food Safety Certification or willingness to obtain
