We are looking for an experienced line cook to join our team at the Historic Hill House and Farm. We are a boutique country inn with a casual fine dining restaurant located in the Sam Houston National Forest between New Waverly and Coldspring.

• The candidate we are looking for must have :

• a high school diploma or GED. Texas Food Handlers Card Required.

• Must be familiar with all phases of food preparation and related techniques.

• Must be able to get along with other staff members and work as a team.

• You must have 2-3 years prior experience in a kitchen as line cook or sous chef experience.

• Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position

• Mobility and dexterity to move/lift large, heavy objects up to 100 lbs.

• Be able to stand and walk for periods of up to 8 hours

• Be able to work in a hot environment and/or close-quarters

• Have manual dexterity to include using kitchen utensils and handling food items.

• Must have reliable means of transportation.
