Come cook authentic Japanese ramen with us! Learn to easily cook authentic Japanese Ramen in our exciting restaurant, located right next to Newbury Street, Hynes convention, and Prudential! We are looking for enthusiastic cooks to join our team!
The line cooks assist the kitchen manager in the preparation and making of orders and performs a number of kitchen activities including restocking fridges, monitoring soup, dish washing, and general cleaning duties and properly storing food and non-food supplies.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Be able to operate all three station and interchange stations as needed.
- Properly prepare ramen base, soup and toppings as well as side and rice dishes.
- Store and properly handle food following servsafe guidlines.
- Wash dishes and care for pots.
- Operate dishwashing equipment.
- Clean and sanitize production equipment, work surfaces and kitchen according to cleaning schedules and procedures.
- Empty and clean trash containers as required.
- Maintain good personal hygiene.
- Comply with restaurant’s dress code.
- Follow safety regulations, reporting injuries or any unsafe conditions and work practices to the Restaurant and Kitchen Manager.
