Lake Park Diner is one of Naples' most popular restaurants and we are expanding to Bonita Springs! We are looking for a Prep Cooks & Line Cooks to join our team and help open our newest location. If you have a passion for hospitality and are guest and employee-focused, then this job is for you. Please note: A portion of your training will take place at our Naples location (944 7th Ave S. Naples, FL) while the Bonita Springs location finishes construction. The intended grand opening is May/June 2023. If you have a passion for high-quality, fresh ingredients and made-from-scratch recipes, then this job is for you.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and organize cooking stations in the kitchen for yourself and other cooks
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of recipes, procedures, and plating for all menu items
  • Prepares items in accordance with established recipes for a consistent product
  • Expedites orders in a timely manner
  • Work cooperatively with front of house staff and respond to guest needs/requests
  • Maintain food and safety regulations at all kitchen and dining areas
  • Assist with inventory management, kitchen cleaning, and other duties as needed by the management team

Skills

  • Have minimum 1-2 years’ experience in a high volume, fast-paced restaurant
  • Possess a positive, energetic, “can-do” attitude and spirit
  • Be able to effectively communicate with team members
  • Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends, evenings and holidays
  • Understanding of hygiene and food safety rules
  • Physical ability and stamina to stand for long hours
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
