Lighthouse Connections Academy (LCA) is a tuition-free virtual public charter school serving students in grades K-12 throughout Michigan. LCA is authorized by Oxford Community Schools and governed by an independent Board of Directors. The school contracts with Connections Education LLC to provide its educational program and other services. Connections Academy, a division of Connections Education, is accredited by AdvancED.

Responsibilities:

The State Testing Proctor will be responsible for the successful completion of the following tasks:

• Complete required training on test security and administration;
• Administer or proctor testing to a small group of students;
• Assist with proctoring tests to a large group of students;
• Ensure all testing security measures are followed accurately;
• Monitor environmental conditions and keep them within established guidelines;
• Maintain provided supplies and materials;
• Set up tables, chairs, and computer lab;
• Provide and maintain a safe and orderly testing environment;
• High degree of flexibility, and
• Other duties as assigned

Possible Locations: Warren, Southfield, Detroit, Romulus, Flint, Grand Rapids, Okemos, Midland, Battle Creek, Ann Arbor, Troy, Various locations in the Upper Peninsula*

• Locations may vary based on assignment.

Requirements:
Ability to work during typical business hours 7am - 5pm
Must pass or have already passed an FBI/BCI background check
Prior experience proctoring standardized testing preferred
Some college credits preferred
Ability to be on your feet for 8 hours per day
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
Ability to read provided test directions to students
