Lifeguard Job at City of North Platte
The lifeguard will perform water safety and recreational work in supervising the swimming pool.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of swimming techniques
- Some knowledge of basic sanitation in a water environment
- Ability to react responsibility in emergency situations
- Ability to perform light physical work and to lift and carry up to 75 pounds, but some heavy work involving ability to swim 500 yards continuously and ability to carry out a water rescue in water up to 9 feet
Special Requirements
Must possess Advanced Life Savings, Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation, and First Aid Certifications; Water Safety Instructor's Certification and Pool Operator's license is desirable.
