Open Circle of Heritage Park is hiring a Full-Time Life Enrichment Aide/ HHA to join our team. This position is Monday through Friday with NO evenings, weekends, on-call or holiday shifts! Come and join our fun, close-knit family at our engaging adult day program. We will train you for this position!

In this role, you will work with a team to assist members with fun activities such as arts and crafts, word games/ trivia, and music. Our ideal candidate is passionate about working with mature adults (including those living with dementia), thrives in a positive work environment, and has good critical thinking skills. We are looking for someone who loves to have fun and enjoys sharing your gifts/ talents with others. You’ll love working with our fun, collaborative team!

This is a Full-Time, benefit eligible position working Monday through Friday. NO evenings, weekends, or holidays required!

What does a Life Enrichment Aide/ HHA do?

• Help each member reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence which includes assisting with feeding, grooming, showering, passing medications and toileting when necessary.
• Prepare, implement, clean up, and evaluate assigned daily programs for members. Daily programs include activities such as table games, arts and crafts, word games/ trivia, music and more!
• Plan and implement all aspect of assigned community outings; schedule and coordinate transportation.
• Display an attitude of courtesy and respect for all members, families, and staff.
• Update the team on members’ progress, needs, and/or changes of behaviors.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.

What does a Life Enrichment Aide/ HHA require?

• CNA or closely related field, or equivalent experience preferred, but not required. We will train you!
• Previous experience working in Memory Care preferred.
• Must have steady work history.
• A compassionate attitude.
• A passion to work with elderly adults.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
