The State of New Hampshire, lottery Commission has a full time vacancy for Licensing Coordinator.

Summary:
To support the operational performance of the licensing unit and assist with the overall administration of licenses issued in accordance with agency policies and state and federal regulations.

Responsibilities:
o Compiles and analyzes complex gaming data to support research, evaluation, planning and related projects.
o Assists in maintaining the agency’s licensing database, My License Office (MLO) and provides related training, troubleshooting and support to office personnel. Serves as a liaison between the Commission and NH DoIT and assists with MLO updates and maintenance.
o Calculates and processes licensee payments, refunds and credits. Monitors and maintains daily reconciliation of cash receipts and revenue reports.
o Reviews, evaluates and processes license applications, verifying completeness and accuracy, retrieving and reviewing the results of CHRI background checks to determine whether applicants are eligible, updating information in dual licensing databases with a high attention to detail and accuracy, by creating and issuing physical identification badges and license certificates to licensees on behalf of the Commission.
o Serves as the primary backup to the supervisor to facilitate operations.
o Communicates with applicants and vendors with regard to the disposition of applications, as well as with various government agencies, including the New Hampshire Department of Safety, the Charitable Trust Unit, the New Hampshire Secretary of State, and the Internal Revenue Service; provides referral for assistance and presents information to clarify policies, procedures and standards.
o Maintains the oversight of information releases for the unit by accuracy and confidentiality of licensing related records and files, in accordance with PII requirements of the New Hampshire Department of Safety, the Social Security Administration, and the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI).
o Assists in planning and coordinating program activities, recommends policy or procedural changes or alternate work methods to assist management with the decision making processes. Coordinates and maintains contact with investigators to keep them informed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Associate's degree from a recognized college or technical institute with a major study in business administration, accounting, or public administration. Each additional year of approved formal education may be substituted for one year of required work experience.
Experience: Three years' experience in responsible office or business management activities. Each additional year of approved work experience may be substituted for one year of required formal education.
License/Certification: None required.
Recommended Work Traits: Knowledge of modern principles and practices of public or business administration. Knowledge of modern office methods and procedures. Knowledge of basic principles and practices of accounting. Ability to plan, assign and supervise the work of others. Ability to conduct studies and analyses contributing to the development of sound operational procedures. Ability to speak and write effectively. Ability to understand and carry out complex written or oral instructions. Ability to establish and maintain harmonious working relationships with administrative officials, other employees and the general public. Must be willing to maintain appearance appropriate to assigned duties and responsibilities as determined by the agency appointing authority.
