We are looking for a kind and passionate LVN to work in healthcare facilities or patients' homes to provide care. Westwood Post Acute is seeking a committed Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our AWESOME TEAM!

Salary Range: $38 to $43 per hour (Depends on Experience)
Job Type:
Full Time - 8 hours per day x 40 hours per week
Part Time - 3 days per week! OPEN!
Shift Available:
- Morning - 7:00AM to 3:30PM
- Afternoon - 3:00PM to 11:30PM
- Evening - 11:00PM to 7:30AM
- New Graduate or Newly Passer are Welcome
- Experienced LVN
- Must have a certificate and license as LVN in state of California accordance to law
- Must have an active BLS through the American Heart Association
- Must have an active CPR Certification
- Must comply to Vaccination for COVID 19 adherence to California DOH Policy
- Must willing to commute
- Clear written and verbal English Communication Skills
- Must be skillful in Basic Organizational
- Must be knowledgeable in Computer Skills
- Ability to think and work independently with direction from supervisor
- Efficient and consistent communication with patients, co-workers and other healthcare professionals in our facility
- Professional conduct at all times
- Ability to keep patient information confidential
- Time-sensitive, and can endure high-pressure situations
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills and patient assessment skills

Job Description Summary:
An LVN's responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, assisting healthcare professionals and consulting patients' families. Other daily tasks are the following:
- Recording and updating patient histories
- Discussing health care issues and concerns
- Providing assistance with therapies
- Drawing blood for testing
- Acting as a point of contact for a patient
To be successful as an LVN you must have a passion for helping others as well as the patience needed to assist difficult patients or family members. A good LVN balances empathy and professional care without compromising either. We are looking for someone are passionate in healthcare field and willing to learn.
