Licensed Nursing Home Administrator

Northcrest Living Center is a local, independently owned skilled-nursing facility in Council Bluffs. We are seeking a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator to oversee the operations of our 62-bed skilled-nursing facility in Council Bluffs, Iowa. As the Licensed Nursing Home Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the facility provides high-quality care to our residents while maintaining compliance with all state and federal regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the facility, including staffing, budgeting, and resident care.
• Develop and maintain relationships with residents, families, and staff.
• Ensure that the facility is compliant with all state and federal regulations, including maintaining all necessary licenses and certifications.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve the quality of care provided to residents.
• Ensure that the facility meets its financial goals through effective budgeting and cost management tactics.
• Coordinate with medical professionals and other healthcare providers to ensure that residents receive the best possible care.

Qualifications:

• Must hold an active Nursing Home Administrator license in the State of Iowa.
• Minimum of 2 years in a nursing home or long-term care facility.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a team and work collaboratively with staff, residents, and families.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to nursing homes and long-term care facilities.
• Stable Work History.
• Proven Census and Survey Improvement experience.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare regulations and guidelines.
• Strong Financial Acumen.
