DESCRIPTION:
Quality Conservation Services (QCS) and its parent, Free Energy Savings Company, provide free energy conservation improvements to qualified middle- and lower-income households in selected California communities under contracts funded by California utilities including Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E), Southern California Edison (SCE), Southern California Gas (SCG) and Southwest Gas (SWG).
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Duties of the Licensed C10 Residential Electrician include training and supervising crews to install Tesla battery back-up systems offered free to moderate- and lower-income residences to protect against outages, to reduce peak energy demand and to promote solar power use.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Directly supervises employees within the department(s).
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with QCS' policies and applicable laws.
- Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid C10 License
- 3+ years of electrical experience
- Clean driving record
- Must pass background screening
- Must pass drug screening
- Other preferred:
- Bilingual
- Battery back-up experience
- ESA Program experience
- Solar energy experience
