Job Summary:
The leasing associate is responsible for leasing to potential residents, while selling community services and providing exceptional customer service to current residents. Saturday availability required.
Essential Functions:
- Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.
- Interact directly with prospective and current residents to achieve maximum occupancy at the properties
- Enter and update all lease activities in Entrata and generate leasing activity reports and availability list
- Field phone calls, ascertain needs and qualifications and schedule appointments and showings for prospective residents
- Discuss availability of apartments and accompany prospective residents to walk through the property grounds, amenity spaces and available apartments
- Follow up with prospective residents
- Conduct background check (criminal and credit) to qualify potential renters
- Collect application fees, security deposits, and rent payments
- Prospect for new residents with proactive and creative marking efforts, such as hosting an open house, sending/distributing mailers, launching approved referral programs etc.
- Establish rapport with residents and provide excellent customer service
- Assist in the execution of advertising and marketing plans for the community as instructed by the marketing team and property leadership.
- Travel to local properties/apartment communities as needed
- Assist in planning and executing resident events
Education and Experience:
- Leasing experience required
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent degree
- Entrata experience a plus
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent sales, interpersonal and customer service skills
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
- Ability to multi-task in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
- Have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour + $100 Commission per Signed Lease + Quarterly Bonus Opportunities
