JOB SUMMARY

The Lease Operator position is responsible for the daily monitoring and operating of power pumps to produce flow of oil or gas from well site locations. Lease Operators also monitor pumps and flow lines for gas and fluid leaks as well as perform routine maintenance on various equipment around the well site utilizing various hand tools. This position requires the ability to work in all types of inclement and extreme weather conditions and requires a commitment to understanding and exhibiting Titan’s Mission and Core Values, following safety rules, federal and state laws and regulations as well as representing the company in a professional, courteous and safe manner at all times.

This position is an eight day on, six day off schedule.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBLITIES

• Monitor control panels during pumping operations in order to ensure that materials are being pumped at the correct pressure, density, rate and concentration.
• Monitor pumping equipment, pipelines, treaters and tanks to ensure they are operating efficiently.
• Operate engines and pumps in order to shut off wells according to production schedules, and to switch flow of oil into storage tanks.
• Gauge oil and gas production.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment
• Repair gas and oil meters and gauges.
• Repair pipe sections, pumps and clean filters.
• Utilize onsite equipment to monitor the conditions of fluid contained in storage tanks.
• Monitor tank levels and ensure tanks are not becoming overloaded.
• Ensure loads are being picked up in a timely manner.
• Take pride in work and equipment and support customers.
• Maintain excellent working relationships with customers, sub-contractors and personnel.
• Operate assigned equipment in accordance with the terms specified by the customer and in a safe manner when needed.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum high school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of oil and gas operations experience required, 3+years preferred.
• Prior pumping experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 75lbs.
• Possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
• Successful completion and passing of company drug screen, background check.
• Basic computer skills and experience with MS office and e-mail is preferred.

ADDITIONAL NOTES

• Must be willing and able to work in a field environment in all weather conditions and noisy environments.
• Must be willing and able to work as needed on a 24/7 basis.
• Travel to field required daily.
