Lean Technician (La Habra) Job at CVS Health
CVS is seeking a lean technician for our LaHabra, CA location. This role is a key member of the team to lead and drive projects and culture to improve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity of the operations. The role will and be support the continuous improvement at the facility.

Minimum: 18.50
Maximum: 34.60

Required Qualifications
1+ year of past experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment

GED Required
Technical associates level or higher degree or actively pursuing certifications and education relevant to the position

- Safety – Responsible for improving safety at the site through use 5S, standard work, improved ergonomics, and process changes.
- Lean – This role will often be the primary hands behind the site expert in lean manufacturing and will support the team in implementation of lean process improvements to meet business objectives. Supporting kaizens, supporting data / problem solving / root casuing for tier meetings, establishing/improving standard work (both associate and leader), and implementing improved visual management with 5S principles.
- Change Management – This individual will work alongside many teams and must work collaboratively with stakeholders and have robust follow through on changes to ensure success. Often work alongside Operational Excellence, Inventory Control, Operations, and Maintenance.
- Standards Maintenance – support timestudy validation of new or existing standards to ensure proper and fair accountability for associates to standard. Work to audit processes and associates with process observations. Assist in LMS training to new associates.
- Data Engineering – Depending on the capabilities of the individual, work to translate data to information via reports and strive toward the creation of PowerBI dashboards to aid in decision making and problem solving.
Expectations for the role:
- Familiarization with Lean Manufacturing Concepts
- Analytical thinking and problem solving skills and working with data/reports.
- Strong interpersonal & communication skills, self-motivated, accountable, and successful at managing multiple priorities and tasks
- Knowledge of MS Office applications
- Good verbal and written communications skills in English
- Ability to perform physical work of equivalent to a light duty / non-technical maintenance position
- Attention to detail and a mindset of organization

Required Qualifications
1+ year of past experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Associates degree in technical field
- Past demonstrated lean experiences
- Manhattan or INFOR WMS system experience
- PowerBI or Tableau dashboard creation experience
- Lean Six Sigma Yellow Below certification or higher
- Experience with lift equipment / material handling equipment / powered industrial trucks
