Main Job Description
Lead, implement, and coordinate continuous improvement projects, Lean (Bosch Production Systems) methodology, and core elements within the value chain. Development of competencies in the organization, implementation and monitoring of standards and methodology of approach "System Bosch CIP", ensuring the success and profitability of the plant.
Specific tasks:
Lean Manufacturing Implementation at M&M Carnot
- Development of standardized work documentation for manufacturing operations in accordance with Bosch standards, using time measurement methods
- Plan and coordinate Value Stream Mapping according to the planning and manufacturing of the product, to find opportunities for improvement
- Coach Production Manager and Value Stream Leader to apply the LEAN System approach of the value stream
- Development of all necessary documentation to be in the Quality System and responsible for responding to Continuous Improvement Project topics during quality audits
- Definition, development, and provision of standards for the entire value stream
- Definition and application of mechanisms for the periodic confirmation of the system
- Periodic reviews, evaluation, and development of action plans in the plant
- Coordination and preparation of the annual evaluation of LEAN
- Digitalization and Connectivity for the value stream
Development of Competencies:
- Coordination of the competency certification process for direct and indirect associates to apply the elements of LEAN and reinforce a culture of LEAN
- Coordination of the LEAN Training activities and onboarding for new associates
- Instructor for LEAN trainings or related topics and moderator in workshops as needed
- Development of training material for on-site sessions
Personnel Development:
- Develops the team through mentoring and coaching with all support team members
Safety, Environment and Quality Policy:
- Promote safety, health, and environmental protection
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or above in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronic, or related degree.
- Specialize in manufacturing processes, logistics and machine design (Lean Manufacturing)
- 3+ years of experience LEAN implementation in Manufacturing environment, including the use of Lean tools (Shop Floor Management Cycle, Flow Oriented Layout, Lean Line Design, etc.) and having carried out optimization projects with results achievements
- 2+ years’ experience in project management, with knowledge of structure and monitoring tools such as MS Project and Excel
- Strengths in communication and cooperation with internal customers, ability to define requirements, and approach to conflict resolution
- Skilled in problem solving and structured with a focus on the search for an alternative to reach the objective
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
