Job Title: School-Based Mental Health Program
Manager/ Lead Therapist

REPORTS TO: CEO

SUPERVISES: SBMH Therapist Staff

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Supervise team of 5 therapists which includes providing consultation, observation/evaluation of therapy sessions, training and clinical supervision of associate- licensed/certified & fully licensed staff.

2. Review GIRP notes and treatment plans on a weekly basis. a. Notes from associate-licensed staff due on Mondays. Return reviewed notes for corrections by Thursday. Fully licensed staff submits notes on Fridays. b. Collect & sign all notes (Fridays). Submit to medical records office for filing. c. Collect & sign weekly activity reports. Maintain binder for records.

3. Receive all program referrals, screen and schedule new referrals for initial assessment. a. Enter student information using Access database (referral date, referral source, school, student name, grade, age, gender, race, regular or special education, health insurance & case status). b. Contact parent/guardian to schedule initial assessment (3 attempts). Send letter with closing date if there is no response from parent. For Spanish-speaking parent/guardian, contact Nohemi Howard to coordinate appointment time/date. c. Email referral source(s) to provide appointment updates, gather additional information about student and to arrange space for meeting with parent & student.

4. Complete program orientation using Intake Packet with parent/guardian and student.
Administer psychosocial assessment and complete Integrative Assessment (IA) report
(within 3 days) which includes recommendations to assist assigned therapist with treatment planning.

5. Assign cases (via email notification) to SBMH therapists according to school assignment and provide case updates to referral source(s) via email or telephone. a. Create folder under assigned therapist name (post IA, intake contact sheet & other case related documents) b. Maintain contact with Lead P&I and student’s assigned school counselor/social worker for continued collaboration.

6. Lead weekly clinical team meetings (Friday @ AFE office) and maintain meeting minutes/case reviews (K drive & binder). Conduct individual reviews of assigned caseloads (quarterly).

7. Collect, manage, report and interpret program data (e.g. referrals, demographics, clinical) to CEO and RCPS Project Manager for monthly reviews using Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Access and Excel). Develop database and reporting forms to collect program statistics as needed.

8. Attend all RCPS STARS committee meetings and assist with sustainability planning activities.

9. Develop referral system for community based mental health providers.
10. Research, compile and organize resources for SBMH program (save in K drive).
11. Create and modify SBMH Program documents (e.g. intake forms, letters, policies and procedures, etc.).
12. Maintain K drive (create folders for staff; add/delete files, etc.).

13. Participate in chart organization and audits as needed.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Applicants must possess a Master’s degree in one of the following areas: Social Work,
Professional Counseling, or Psychology; with at least 2 years of professional experience in the field of mental health. Applicants must be licensed by the State of Georgia Composite
Board as an associate level clinician or higher. Applicant must have reliable transportation,
Georgia driver license, and valid car insurance. Applicants must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug testing.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $42,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
