Lead Teacher/Group Leader- Summer Camp Job at Camp East Woods
Camp East Woods is seeking qualified candidates to apply for Lead Teacher positions for Summer 2021. Campers range in age from 2 years old-13 years old. The camp season runs June 28th-August 6th, Monday-Friday 8:45-3:15. We are located at East Woods School in Oyster Bay, New York.
- Responsible for implementing program and activities for group of campers (14-18 campers per week)
- Responsible for maintaining a safe, nurturing environment for campers to encourage growth and build self-confidence.
- Responsible for creating fun, engaging, creative activities for campers to participate in.
- Responsible for bringing campers to group activities and encouraging participation.
- Each lead teacher will be assigned 1-2 counselors to assist with group.

Candidates should possess a teaching degree and/or work in a school setting during the school year. Previous camp experience preferred, not required.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
