Responsibilities:
- Contributes to technical strategy and architecture for key product modules, assembly or testing
- Diagnoses and resolves problems in third-party systems
- Leads project team
- Performs analysis of test escapes and timing related defects
- Defines and documents improved test processes and methods
- Defines and documents improvement for test processes and methods
- Architects and develops reusable infrastructure for test environments
- Applies advanced technical knowledge of product areas to assess customer impact of discovered problems
- Drive the prioritization, risk analysis, and actions required to resolved product issues
- Manages the Realization of small individual engineering feature or project across multiple functional organizations.
- Projects contain 15-40 professional engineers with a budget in excess of $2M.
- Accountable for managing the cross-functional team for the total engineering project with reporting responsibility to the DRT.
- Development of capacity plans for each feature
- Follows the defined processes established by the division
Skills and Competencies:
- Demonstrates integrated knowledge across technologies, processes, systems and product sets
- Assesses competitive advantage of design
- Demonstrates in-depth level of understanding and ability to relate new and evolving technology to test design, development and architecture
- Seeks opportunities to produce intellectual property
