Sono Bello is now seeking a Full-Time Lead Registered Nurse for our King of Prussia location. This position is responsible for delivering excellent patient care, coordinating and ensuring a safe and compliant working environment, assisting in surgical procedures, ensuring accurate and complete patient charting, conducting pre and post-operative visits, and fostering a spirit of teamwork.

Responsibilities/Duties:

• Designated as the Safety Officer in the clinic
• Oversees quality improvement measures
• Plans, designs, measures, assesses, improves new or revised processes of patient care and service
• Designated as the Medical Records specialist
• Provides pre- and post-operative visits
• Responsible to review two random charts per month per Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement peer review protocol
• Responsible, along with the MD, for daily narcotic counts
• Conducts Vela-Shape Treatments
• Administers medication
• Provides back-up support for other clinical staff as necessary
• Serves as the Medical Practice Representative in evaluating other RN and LPN/LVN candidates and documenting interview on Medical Practice Approval of Licensed Medical Staff form

Supervisory Responsibilities: Along with the Practice Manager, ensure adequate staffing for number of procedures performed daily. Supervision of medical assistants (including but not limited to the following): Orientation and evaluation of all medical assisting staff.

• Preparation of instruments, equipment and operating room for surgical procedures
• Cleaning and sterilizing operating room and instruments after a procedure
• Set up of a sterile field for procedures
• Maintaining appropriate medical supply
• Cleaning of Autoclave and replace water on a weekly basis
• Cleaning of bath warmer on a weekly basis
• Stocking new supply orders and disposing of boxes
• Downloading pre-operative and post-operative pictures in a timely manner
• Overseeing the Assistant if performing Velashape treatments on patients
• Laser Safety

Qualifications/Skills:

• Active RN License
• Current BLS
• Current ACLS within 90 days of hire
• Minimum of two years of RN Experience
