Responsible for the implementation and operational support of the pharmacies providers programs established by the Pharmacy department, such as Pharmacy Quality Program, Integrated Diabetes Program, Home Delivery, among others. Supports key departmental initiatives such as OTC. Works closely with MCS Top Management and key stakeholders to achieve and sustain a higher performance in CMS Medicare Pharmacy STAR quality ratings and MCS internal goals.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Lead and support projects activities in accordance with established schedules, milestones, resources, issues, scope, and processes to ensure that all projects are well scoped, well documented, and completed on time. Also, regularly informs executive sponsors and key stakeholders of projects status
- Tracks and manages key stakeholder pharmacy performance goals and holds them accountable in order to improve the performance in the adherence measure
- Support the Pharmacy Quality Program management and implementations of new initiatives
- Prepare and update accordingly the database of participating pharmacies in the programs and maintenance of the contracts central depository
- Serves as liaison with the Configuration Department to ensure the configuration of pharmacy providers in the appropriate systems
- Manage activities and training sessions with the pharmacies in the programs
- Resolve technical issues with pharmacies in the reporting and resolution of related with the program platforms
- Planning strategic plans of the activities with the pharmacies, including the Annual Compensation Activity and others as required
- Lead Pharmacy Board meetings, prepare and complete action plans to address compliance with business processes, metrics, and operational requirements, including performance and financial budgets
- Serves as liaison with the Finance Department to ensure the calculation of the annual compensation bonus and payment to pharmacies on a timely manner
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify gaps, barriers, and opportunities for improvement, also develop and implement enhancements that are align with the pharmacies programs objectives
- Identify and reports significant issues and underlying problems, accompanied by proposed solutions, in a timely manner to leadership. Also, resolve issues before health plan performance results are impacted
- Prepare and deliver presentation materials for management level
- Perform Data Analysis, tracking and trends
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and quality requirements are met as per local and federal laws and regulations and other agencies
- Participates and collaborates with internal and external audits, in the division’s processes automation, corporate and departamentals projects, and other similar tasks
- Participates in the implementation of tactical plans, follows up on assigned tasks, projects, or objectives to ensure that expectations are met
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Health Mathematics, Statistics, Demography, or related areas.
Experience: Five (5) years of previous experience performing similar responsibilities analyzing, managing data, and making presentations in the Healthcare industry.

Other: Knowledge of Medicare Star Program and/or PBM requirements preferred.
