LD&T Freight Payment Coordinator

This position contributes to the success of the Warehouse Delivered Chilled Transportation Teamby providing support for chilled transportation operations. This role will support carrier relations around invoicing and payment processing, data collection, perform weekly performance reporting and provide input for process improvement projects.

The LD&T Freight Payment Coordinator will work with Replenishment Planning, Warehouse Operations, Transportation, and other groups as necessary to gather information, understand operational processes/business drivers, and provide support for transportation financial/service target measurements.

• Collect data and take action to ensure data integrity prior to data submission
• Invoice and Payment processing
• Validate carrier invoicing and work with carriers on opportunities to become digital payment account
• Provide information to the team to assist in solving day-to-day operational issues and reaching short- & long-term performance goals
• Participate on cross-functional teams and communicate cross-functionally to achieve continuous process improvement
• Communicate with carrier receivables on regular basis to keep accounts up-to-day
• Work with team in transitioning new BUs to Chilled processing team
• Knowledge of currency conversions for Canadian freight payment processing

Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities

• Computer proficiency in Excel; Microsoft Access, Business Objects, and/or data mining experience a plus

• Expected salary range is $50,400-$67,200
