Job Description

This position provides clinical support within the Catawba County detention facility’s Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) program. This position works closely with the contracted medical team within the facility by completing intake assessments, which are used in determining eligibility for MAT program participation. They also facilitate clinical groups with the offenders enrolled in MAT program, focusing on substance use and brain health, teaching coping skills, decision making skills, anger management and others. This position will work with MAT participants, one on one, to complete post release planning and coordination. MAT Clinician will provided overflow and additional support to other jail Clinicians as availability determines

Additional Job Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (BA) in Human Services or related field and current License or Certification – CDAC or CDACI, LCAS or LCASA, LCSW LCSWA or similar.
• 2 yrs experience in Case Management preferred.
• Must have valid Driver’s License and auto insurance
• Cannot have more than 3 points on current Driving Record Cannot have any legal issues (including probation) within the past 5 years

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $38,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
