Laundry Service Lead Technician Hugo Laundry **Full-Time
Pay Rate: $35.00 hourly, Full-Time
Schedule: Sunday-Saturday, Varies
Shift: 5:00am-6:00pm
Job Purpose or Objective(s): As the Laundry Service Lead Technician, you will perform preventative maintenance, service assignments and repairs on a variety of laundry and environmental equipment to assure safe operation of equipment. You will report to the Laundry Operations Senior Manager.
Primary Tasks:

• You will perform troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance on commercial laundry equipment.

• Manage performance of all Laundry Technicians. Enforce all work rules, standard operating procedures, and guidelines.

• Assist Director of Laundry Operations with the creation of budget.

• Update all standard operating procedures, training programs, and job descriptions when needed.

• Demonstrate troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques.

• Manage time and resources, to control costs, enhance efficiencies, and meet time-to-repair commitments.

• Determine material, parts, and equipment to be used for repair, installation and stock.

• Use knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment to perform repairs ranging from routine to more complex to support industrial sized Laundry.

• Communicate with internal customers on repair status.

• Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED

• Willingness to be involved with the emergency on-call rotation that includes nights and weekends.

• Must be responsible, operate, demonstrate initiate, and display a sense of responsibility.

• Five (5) years’ service industry experience with large commercial laundry equipment or related machinery
