The laundry aide works under the direction of the Manager of Facilities/Operations, but with minimal direct supervision, to perform clean linen distribution, linen stocking maintenance, and soiled linen pick up in a safe and effective manner.

Responsibilities:

• Delivers clean linen to residents. Picks up soiled linen from residents. Records quantities of clean linen delivered and/or soiled linen pick-up amounts as needed.
• Transports linen between the Laundry and the Nursing Rehabilitation Center.
• Organizes and labels linen carts and stocking locations as needed.
• Maintains linen par levels.
• Communicates effectively to assure daily deliveries are complete and customer needs are met.
• Responds effectively to calls as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED
• Previous Laundry / Linen delivery experience preferred but not necessary.
