Preferred Hours:

9am to 2pm EST (or can split the hours up half in the morning and half in the afternoon/evening)

Start Date:

December 12, 2022 (or first week of January 2023 is also fine)

Job position description:

We’re looking for a part time or potentially a full time Laravel developer.

This is a very unique position as you do NOT need to do coding all day. It is more of a management position with some possible options for light coding or bug fixes.

This position is mostly a consulting role which means you will work directly with the CEO of the company and also our other tech lead. You would be responsible for managing client projects that are more on the technical side. It just means attending a weekly stand up call, responding to emails and turning in requests or issues to the developers in a technical manner so they clearly understand what needs to be done. Your basically like the liaison between the client and the developers doing the work to make sure that it is clear and to provide technical guidance.

Location:

WWU is located in Hampstead, NC, just outside of Wilmington with employees located here in North Carolina, Florida and around the country.

Specific daily/weekly tasks:

• Ability to manage other developers
• Discuss/review specific tasks with other developers and make sure they are clear so the developer can produce the best possible outcome based on your advice and discussion/specs
• Attend weekly stand up meetings with clients and bring back the specs to the developers in an organized manner
• Attend weekly meetings with other developers on joint projects (we work with other developers at companies that need extra help) so you need the ability to meet, email or slack with other developers and communicate effectively
• Ability to meet with potential new clients; receive their specifications for a project or job and the ability to provide those details to the development team in an organized manner
• Ability to communicate with the CEO and other project managers to take direction, training and fit into the company culture and be a positive influence and long term contributor

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $30,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
