Responsibilities:

• Understand and implement job specifications for each job site
• Assign daily tasks to crew members and ensure compliance
• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including, but not limited to: mowing, edging, blowing, bed grooming, pruning, fertilizing and leaf pick up
• Routinely monitor sites for quality and follow up with crews on performance improvements. Communicate continuing concerns to Area Manager
• Use a tablet to complete daily paperwork timely and accurately
• Assess equipment operation issues and effectively communicate repair needs to Fleet Manager
• Supervise safe loading and unloading of equipment
• Assist Field Manager with initial and on-going training of crews
• Assess skill level and work behavior of employees and provide recommendations to Field Manager regarding professional development, performance evaluation and promotional opportunities
• Ensure adherence to all company policies
• Develop and maintain a positive work relationship with the Field Manager, Department Managers, and subordinates
• Encourage and maintain safe working conditions by promoting all company safety policies and assisting Field Manager with training.
