The Landscape crew member is responsible for providing regularly scheduled landscape maintenance service within an established route daily. They will work closely with supervisors to meet and exceed all assigned jobs. Employees will be expected to perform all aspects of landscape maintenance as well as other services such as planting, leaf removal hardscape and winter services. An eye for detail is a must. Must be reliable, responsible, and have a strong work ethic.

Job duties:

• Indoor-outdoor plant maintenance
• Mowing, Edging, blowing
• Pruning and deadheading plants
• Raking, manual and mechanical weed control
• Clearing of landscape and other debris from landscape beds
• Knowledge of fertilizers and some herbicides
• General shrub and flower planting knowledge

Specific qualifications for the Landscaper position include:

• Experience - Minimum of 1 year of experience in the grounds keeping/ landscape industries or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• Washington State Drivers license - or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire
• Equipment - Ability to use a hand saw, chainsaw, hedge bar, 48’ mower, 21’ mower and various tools related to the landscaping field including hand pruners, rakes, shovels, digging bars, etc.
• Language - The ability to read and interpret documents and use a handheld smart phone data device that provide information such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals in English.
• Dependability - Arrives to work consistently and on time.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
