Landscape Crew Member Job at Drury Development Corporation
Full time, year round work, with benefits (includes vacation, holidays, and health insurance).
Regular Mon-Fri, 40-45 hr/week schedule

Job Description: The maintenance and enhancement of the grounds of various Drury owned properties, located throughout the St. Louis metro area and certain nearby cities, by the implementation of basic horticultural practices (no lawn mowing required).
Job duties include:
Using shovels, rakes, wheelbarrows, hand pruners, and other lawn and garden hand tools.
Mulching and care of ornamental planting beds.
Using various gasoline powered grounds care equipment such as chainsaws, hedge trimmers, line trimmers/brush-cutters, blowers, etc..
Planting of various types of ornamental annual/perennial flowers, shrubs, and small trees.
Correctly identifying weeds in ornamental beds and removing them.
Completing the safe and proper pruning of various ornamental plants and small ornamental trees.
Removing snow/applying ice controls at selected properties.
Requires:
Ability to bend and stoop repeatedly.
Minimum of 2 years landscaping experience.
A current or ability to acquire a Missouri commercial driver’s license (class E)
Ability to drive an automatic transmission pick-up truck with utility trailer
Ability to work outdoors in various types of weather.
Ability to lift a min. of 50 lbs without assistance.
Ability to work flexible hours and days as needed and for occasional 2-5 day out of town assignments.
Currently be able to operate or to be able to learn the safe and proper operation of various gasoline powered grounds care equipment such as chainsaws, hedge trimmers, line trimmers/brush-cutters, blowers, etc..
Currently be able to operate or to be able to learn the safe and proper operation of a Bobcat skid steer loader
