Land Planner Job at Discovery Land Company

Key Responsibilities
- Create development proposals, processing zoning permits, and mapping out land use logistics
- Develop blueprints for land development
- Produce progress reports and forecasts for team members, clients and stakeholders
- Liaise with surveyors, engineers and architects
- Work closely with land developers, government officials, and community members.
Skills and Qualifications
- 5-10 years’ experience in land planning or urban planning
- Through knowledge of typical local, state, and federal laws and processes impacting the role
- Exceptional analytical, organization, communication, and negotiation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Project
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in environmental or urban planning
- Ability to travel on a regular basis
