Kelly Outsourcing & Consulting Group (KellyOCG), a managed solution provider and business unit of Kelly Services, Inc., is currently seeking a Quality Inspector for a long-term engagement at one of our Global clients in Irvine CA

This client is an innovative medical device company known for advancing therapeutic technologies. In this role you’ll be working with cross-functional teams to evaluate products and ensure conformity to engineering specifications and designs. This role will give you an opportunity to learn and use electromechanical techniques to inspect and test medical devices while helping deliver new therapeutic products to patients and their families.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspects/Tests devices after fabrication to ensure that they meet specifications using equipment such as but not limited to multimeters, micrometers, calipers, flow meters, pressure gages, tensile testers, and torques testers.
  • Ensures proper documentation of all evaluations and summarizes data for engineering review.
  • Performs standard tests methods.
  • Maintains Lab test tools, fixtures, and equipment.
  • Performs electrical, mechanical, electromechanical technician duties
  • Multimeters, micrometers, calipers, flow meters, pressure gages, tensile testers, and torques testers
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or higher
  • 2-5 years of related experience and/or training related to instrumentation knowledge of multimeters, micrometers, calipers, flow meters, pressure gages, tensile testers, and torques testers
  • Ability to work from blueprints and engineering product specifications.
  • Must be able to successfully complete company/department training courses.
  • This role requires Covid-19 vaccination, or approved accommodation and ongoing negative testing upon hire.
