Laboratory Supervisor (Generalist) Job at The LFS Group
Job Description:
In addition to the duties listed under Duties and Responsibilities, the Laboratory Shift Supervisor will direct the daily operations of the Laboratory and act as a generalist performing bench technology duties providing coverage when needed in two or more sections of the Laboratory.
Communicate and collaborate with section supervisors to resolve any issues and to monitor consistency in established work processes.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, or biological science or medical technology from an accredited institution or have state recognized certification as a medical technologist. Plus four (4) years’ experience as a medical technologist/med lab technician.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED
Master's Degree in science
Certified as a technical specialist (ASCP).
Two years of Supervisory and/or management experience in a clinical laboratory.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
