- Bachelors Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Agriculture, Soil Science, or closely related field.
- Capacity to write and maintain laboratory protocols.
- Ability to conduct statistical analysis.
- Ability to prepare soil, plant, and animal tissue extracts.
- Ability to follow chemical preparation procedures.
- Ability to write SOP’s and protocols for a laboratory setting.
- Masters Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Agriculture, Soil Science, or closely related field.
- Experience working with small agricultural producers.
- Forage identification skills.
- Soil sampling skills.
- Public speaking and teaching experience.
- Writing SOP’s and lab protocols.
- Monitoring SOP’s and lab protocols.
- Managing laboratory data and chain of custody.
- Statistical analysis.
- Make extracts of soils and plant tissue.
- Operating analytic equipment.
- Public speaking with small farmers and ranchers.
- Conduct laboratory procedures and maintain laboratory orderliness.
