Eastridge Workforce Solutions is seeking to fill a Lab Technician position for our San Diego area client, a major American manufacturer of diagnostic healthcare products that are sold worldwide. As an experienced Lab Tech, and in accordance with forecasted production requirements, you'll participate in the Chemistry Manufacturing department via:

• Manufacture products within ISO regulations,
• Review/reconcile documents and work orders,
• Support assigned projects with supervision,
• Maintain daily adherence to production goals relating to labor utilization, work order closure, and schedule adherence.

Requirements/Education/Experience

• AA/AS Degree or higher plus 1 years’ experience or High School Diploma plus 2 years of work experience in a GMP environment.
• Previous training and experience in the operation of lab equipment and use of lab chemicals and tools preferred.

Knowledge/Skills

Basic algebraic, statistical and mathematical skills • General computer knowledge • Good organizational skills • Laboratory skills, such as reagent/solution preparation, pipetting and testing • Good verbal and written communication skills • Good interpersonal skills • Knowledge of QSR’s and ISO 9001 • Basic Chemistry or Biochemistry • Ability to follow detailed instructions, maintain accurate records and notes, and the ability to carry out assignments in a through, conscientious fashion. • Demonstrate problem-solving and troubleshooting skills • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Knowledge and ability to use MS Office and other manufacturing systems
