Cloud and Network Services

As Nokia's growth engine, we create value for communication service providers and enterprise customers by leading the transition to cloud-native software and as-a-service delivery models. Our inclusive team of dreamers, doers and disruptors push the limits from impossible to possible.

You'll be a part of Nokia's global Cloud & Network Services virtual lab services team.

Our team deploys and maintains over 700 cloud nodes globally for use by Nokia’s R&D community. We provide several different types of cloud platforms including: Kubernetes and OpenStack platforms. Our diverse team Installs, maintains, and provides support to our global R&D users. We develop best practices to share our knowledge and automated tools to assist in maintenance and advanced services. We’re constantly exploring new technologies to expand our service offerings.

Education Recommendations

Currently a candidate for bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Computer Systems Engineering, or related field with an accredited school in US.

What you will learn and contribute to

Are you passionate about solving problems and helping others?

As part of our team, you will:

• Deploy and maintain our Kubernetes cloud containerization platform and infrastructure such as Nokia’s NCS, and 3rd party platforms OpenShift and Tanzu
• Assist users with access and use of our cloud offerings and help resolve issues with the Kubernetes platform
• Propose, and help develop, new methods for maintaining our infrastructure, automating issue identification and automated resolution

What is Nokia looking for from me

You have experience with:

• Kubernetes application deployment, development, and issue resolution
• Red Hat OpenShift (preferred) or VMware Tanzu
• AWS (preferred) or Azure
• GitLab, Jenkins, Artifactory

It would be nice if you also had experience with:

• Deploying Red Hat OpenShift, or VMware Tanzu, platform itself
• API development
