The Operations Directors top priorities will be ensuring guests receive the highest quality service and hospitality at all times while running the restaurant effectively, efficiently and with all excellence throughout the day. They must be able to help expand the business and develop all team members and management while being able to quickly and professionally handle any issues that might arise with guests or team members.

Ownership and a sense of urgency must be present at all times as they partner with the Sr. Operations Directors/GM to implement policies, provide necessary communications to all those who they work with, and protect the Chick-fil-A brand. As the business grows they will need to adapt to constant change and develop relationships with others so they can be influential to other management and team members.

They will meet with the Sr. Operations Directors/GM monthly to help develop the vision and goals for the restaurant. They must be able to clearly communicate where they stand on their designated area of responsibility and future planning. After the meetings they need to effectively bring these plans to the restaurant and help develop a strong team who can move the business forward.

  Ensure excellent customer service/hospitality by using the Recipe for Service and leading by example
• Lead and the kitchen on a daily basis to ensure efficiency and excellence by actively being involved with all daily activities, projects, and duties including, but not limited to catering orders, Daily Safe, RQA, and training
• Help identify and solve gaps in the kitchen as they pertain to food cost and food safety
• Consistently coach and train team members on points of improvement
• Be able to efficiently run all areas of the restaurant
• Know how to properly open and close the restaurant
• Monitor quality of food, service, cleanliness, safety of customers, management, and team members daily while also focusing on managing the costs of labor, food and paper to help increase sales and profit
• Consistently have a sense of urgency and strong ownership of the kitchen
• Be a critical thinker, quick learner and problem solver while adapting to the business changes with a strong drive to move forward
• Be proactive rather than reactive and quickly solving problems that do arise
• Analyze reports and develop plans for improvement and clearly communicate of all changes

In our kitchens, we focus on fresh and simple ingredients. And we always have. Since the beginning, we've served chicken that is whole breast meat, with no added fillers or hormones, and we bread it by hand in our restaurants. Produce is delivered fresh to our kitchens several times a week. Salads are chopped and prepared fresh throughout the day. Whole lemons are freshly squeezed in our restaurants and combined with pure cane sugar and water (yep, that’s all) to make Chick-fil-A Lemonade®.
