Our top-rated private preschool is seeking an experienced, dedicated and loving individual to assist with our Pre-K classroom (Ages 4-5), in our team teaching environment. This is a year-round position. The candidate would start this summer with Cub Camp, and continue into the fall with the new school year starting in September.

We are now interviewing for a nurturing, high quality teacher to join our preschool team! As a teacher at Children Central, you will help curious, young minds discover the joy of learning.

Children Central is conveniently located near the Oxford Valley Mall and Sesame Place.

Teacher Responsibilities

• Make the day a LOT OF FUN for our children!
• Prepare the class well for kindergarten both academically and socially.
• Work closely with the other educators in the classroom to create a very nurturing, loving and caring environment
• Develop a creative, fun and entertaining program suitable for the Pre-K class.
• Employ a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, singing, dancing, art projects, etc.) to teach the students.
• Observe each child to help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem.
• Encourage children to interact with each other and resolve occasional conflicts.
• Organize nap and snack hours and supervise children to ensure they are safe at all times.
• Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and DHS safety standards.
• Document daily activities on the app; take photos and videos to send to families.
