EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High School Diplomas and college/university degrees must be obtained from an accredited program or university approved by the United States Department of Education and the Texas Education Agency.
PRIMARY PURPOSE SUMMARY
:
Responsible for assisting the KIN Staffing Coordinator in the capacity of analyzing training needs, staff development, conducting new hire orientation, and producing ideas relevant to individual and site specific developmental components.
Responsible for assisting the KIN Staffing Coordinator in the capacity of analyzing training needs, staff development, conducting new hire orientation, and producing ideas relevant to individual and site specific developmental components.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Researches professional development trainings for future use.
2. Facilitates professional development and core competency developmental trainings.
3. Prepares employees for assignments by conducting New Hire Orientation.
4. Enters KIN courses into Eduphoria as requested.
5. Develops materials to be used in training courses and resources for site supervisors.
6. Tracks and inputs staff training records into the Google Drive database and Eduphoria.
7. Corresponds with KIN staff via telephone and email regarding trainings.
8. Creates agendas for meetings and trainings.
9. Corresponds with KIN Site Supervisors regarding new employees and trainings conducted at their site.
10. Assists in providing site specific professional development plans.
11. Assists with the KIN applicant screening process, as needed.
12. Assists with planning January In-Service and August Orientation.
13. Edits and maintains the KIN employee staff handbook.
14. Maintains confidentiality of information and follows FERPA guidelines.
15. Reports to work on time every day.
16. Performs additional duties and accepts other responsibilities as may be assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Knowledge of NAA Core Competencies
- Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods and techniques
- Excellent organizational and communication skills (both oral and written)
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals and constituencies in a diverse community
- Skill in the use of personal computers and related software applications
- Ability to organize and maintain staffing related documentation
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with diverse groups of individuals at different levels utilizing tact and diplomacy
- Valid Texas Driver's License with a driving record that meets the requirements of the District
