The job consists of assisting in planning organizing leading and evaluating all day-to-day activity programs including all holiday and group events. The ability to assist leading a variety of activities including but not limited to crafts sports games nature walks etc is a necessity. This individual must be a self-motivated enthusiastic creative and dependable person.

• Fantasy Pool Complex
• Recreation Retail
• Teen Center
• Group Recreation (Team Building)
• Special and Social Events

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 
  Under the age of 16. Upon your 16th birthday a formal evaluation will be conducted to determine if a. your skills meet the Counselor qualifications.
• Must be well organized creative a self-starter and have excellent communication skills.
• Must be able to lead children in a variety of activities.
• Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings (following state regulations) holidays and weekends.
• Must enjoy working with all age groups.
• Must be courteous and perform according to Aimbridge Guiding Principles at all times.
• Must be willing to learn new task on a daily basis.
• Must be able to read write and converse in the English language.
• Must be able to bend stretch shove pull transcend steps lift and carry 60 pounds.
• Must be able to work outdoors in Florida’s sub-tropical climate
• CPR First Aid and AED certification (including pediatric CPR)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• 
  Assists with the plans organizing leading and evaluation of all daily activity programs including a variety of special events and Holiday programs.
• Organizes and maintains quality assurance of all programs while maintaining outstanding levels of guests and members service.
• Assisting with all daily weekly and monthly guest programs pre-registration.
• Keep all areas neat clean and in good repair.
• Assisting counselors in conference group team building activities.
• Assisting in the daily operation of the Kids Crew program.
• Provides great public relations and keeps abreast of resort and member happenings and recreational trends.
• Works on special projects and contributes ideas to the growth of the department.
• Be cross trained within the Recreation Department
• Must be able to keep an open line of communication between yourself the counselors and management staff
• Willing to learn room and child management skills.
• You must at all times know the staff/child ratio (8 to 1); CIT’s are not part of this ratio
• Assist and advise where needed with all recreational needs throughout the Aimbridge Hospitality group of properties
• Be enthusiastic and energetic throughout the program.
