Kennel Assistant Job at Madison Animal Hospital
Madison Animal Hospital is looking for a motivated Kennel Assistant. Veterinary/animal care experience is preferred.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Ensure the safety and comfort of all pets in the hospital and report any concerns.
- Provide food, water, medications and treatments to pets.
- Clean cages, litter boxes, take dogs outside and provide fresh bedding as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of the hospital, including taking out trash, sweeping, mopping, restocking, washing dishes, laundry, etc.
- Assist other hospital staff as needed.
Requirements:
- Must be comfortable working with animals.
- Must be able to clean feces, urine, vomit, blood, etc.
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment, take directions and pay close attention to detail.
- Weekend and holiday availability is required.
