Job Description

Donegal Services is a growing construction company that offers a variety of different services ranging from demolition to excavating to heavy equipment hauling. We are expanding and looking to add a Junior Estimator to assist with daily estimating operations and bring a helping hand to our Senior Estimator. The right candidate will strive follow up on all incoming estimating quotes, be flexible, attentive, resourceful. Must be open to adapt, learn, and contribute to a growing company. The goal is to grow the position, there is plenty of opportunity for the right candidate.

We are a busy office, the Junior Estimator must be adaptable, punctual, and able to perform with minimal guidance or supervision.

Responsibilities

· Attend bid meetings and develop and execute bid strategies

· Perform take-offs of plans

· Prepare bids and cost analysis

· Analyze project proposals to prepare cost estimates

· Knowledge of site excavation and concrete

· Review construction documents and understand scope of work

· Complete bids accurately and in a timely manner

· Review completed projects for profitability analysis

Requirements

· Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications

· Must be able to multitask and work with a team

· 3 years of previous estimating experience*

· Experienced in construction and estimating- preferably concrete and foundations experience

· Must be computer literate to navigate work tasks & operations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
