Allen Flavors, Inc. is a flavor formulation and ingredient supply-company currently seeking Junior Blenders to work with the manufacturing of beverage formulation. This position consists of but is not limited to, working with others to manually unload raw materials into batches. This position works collaboratively with others and reports to the Plant Manager.
JUNIOR BLENDER
The Junor Blender will properly weigh ingredients, label and document, mix and blend all materials to produce a quality product. Good basic math skills are essential to calculate percentages, reconcile inventories and convert measurements to metric.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Execute batch records and procedures
- Ensure product and process effectiveness and purity
- Weigh components used in batches
- Correct documentation of pre-weighs
- Make pre-blends for larger batches
- Complete daily scale checks and calibrations
- Monitor inventory
- Complete paperwork as needed.
- Maintain records manually and standard operating procedures
- Ability to analyze the processes to determine next steps to be taken and to ensure all previous steps are completed
- Communicating and documenting where the processes are in a multi-task, multi-shift operations.
- Use of RF Scanner and Barcode Printer
- Understand and implement Company Certified programs such as HACCP, NSF, SQF, Food Defense and Food Safety and Food Quality programs as required
- Other duties assigned by Management
