Jr. Systems Admin-Brokerage

Job Description:

Summary
The Systems Analyst/Admin - Brokerage is responsible for supporting the Brokerage business processes (i.e. Shipment Planning & Execution, Tracking, Billing requirements, Reporting) to ensure that Ryder's solutions are meeting customer requirements. This position will handle repeatable analysis and tasks driving continuous service improvement by recommending and implementing stated improvements. The position will require both vendor and user interfacing with the capability of representing Ryder during discovery and execution.

Essential Functions

• Investigate reported issues and execute root cause analysis utilizing current operating systems.
• Provide all support function activity including accuracy and timeliness of data processing, reporting analysis, and all other business specific inquiries.
• Interact with various departments in resolving problems and coordinating implementations.
• Cohesively work with internal SME(s) to resolve problems and/or support implementations.
• Process and distribute weekly and monthly metrics and develop user performance reports.
• Prepare various reports as required or any support documents needed as well as updating any related SOP.
• Initiates continuous process improvement activities and monitors results.
• Responsible to monitor user performance as well as analyze, implement, and develop improvement initiatives supporting Operations, Finance, Sales, etc.
• Evaluate, quantify and present opportunities for continuous improvement at assigned accounts.

Qualifications

• College degree (Associates) / Technical Certification required in Computer Science or IT. A combination of other education and experiences will be considered.
