SUMMARY
The hours for this positon are as follows:
12:00 PM-8:00 PM
The Janitorial Supervisor will be responsible for maintaining the account to all contract specifications. Janitorial Supervisor will provide direct supervision of staff. Assist and direct individual members of the crew in completing job assignments.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Reinforce skills of workers to insure quality and quantity of work performed meets the highest industrial standards, at the same time being an appropriate role model.
- Serve as an appropriate role model for the Janitorial Workers, demonstrating proper hygiene, safety, work, and attitude and attendance habits.
- Complete daily contract obligations to the satisfaction of client representatives.
- Create time sheets and production records and turn them into the office.
- On a daily basis, clean and sanitize all assigned restrooms, stocking with appropriate paper supplies and hand soap.
- Clean all assigned areas according to a schedule established by the supervisor, including mopping, vacuuming, dust mopping, spot cleaning and buffing.
- Wash walls when they become soiled, especially in areas of fountains, equipment, vending machines, restrooms, and other areas subject to soiling, in specific assigned areas of the buildings.
- Clean assigned offices on a regular and timely basis. (Paper work left on desk tops and working areas is not to be disturbed.)
- Dust in assigned areas where dust collects on a regular basis.
- Wash windows in assigned areas as needed.
- Maintain regular attendance and punctuality and accurately maintain attendance records.
- Comply with all safety policies and procedures and report all unsafe working conditions and potential hazards to immediate supervisor.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor or his designated representative.
- Strip and refinish all assigned tile floors on a timely basis.
- Assist with the moving of furnishings and equipment as assigned.
- Secure the building(s) when appropriate.
- Report situations involving a potential safety problem to the Associate Director of Enterprise Services.
- Report situations needing maintenance via the Maintenance Request form and complete requisitions for additional janitorial supplies needed and give to the supervisor.
- Meet on-going position requirements including training.

QUALIFICATIONS
- At least three (3) years experience as a custodian or janitorial worker.
- At least one year supervisory experience required.
- Must provide own transportation, have a valid driver’s license, registration and proof of insurance, and acceptable driving record.
- Familiar with proper sanitation procedures, the use of floor buffing machines, and a vacuum cleaner.
- Must be able to follow written or verbal instructions.
- Criminal history must meet Wabash Center standards and regulatory requirements.
