1 | SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS:

Perform duties to ensure all common areas, and amenities are properly maintained in a clean condition, working within the limits of prescribed routines.

2 | MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform a variety of cleaning/maintenance duties as assigned; including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, polishing, trash disposal, replacing light bulbs and window cleaning, painting, wood repair, drywall repair, cement crack repair, etc.
• Inspect all assigned areas daily and report all cleaning and maintenance discrepancies to Supervisor
• Perform casual labor, such as lifting/moving heavy items as directed by supervisors and following appropriate safety procedures
• Perform light checks while cleaning assigned areas and report to Supervisor
• Ensure all safety precautions are followed while performing work
• Use and maintain all cleaning solutions in accordance with OSHA requirements for hazardous chemicals
• Perform other tasks or additional duties as requested by your Supervisor

3 | SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Complete pressure washing of common areas to include entryways, sidewalks, paved areas, and breezeways
• Assist with maintenance projects.
• Notify supervisor of needed supplies and any unusual equipment or operating problems

4. Respectful interaction with all residents and guests in the community

Scheduled hours Monday – Friday from 7:30 am – 4:30 pm (one hour lunch)

4 | ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:
Reports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor

Skills:

• Good written and verbal communication skills, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
• Constant mental alertness, attention to detail, and a strong sense of urgency
• General knowledge of cleaning and basic maintenance of a club facility.

Special Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs while following appropriate safety procedures
• Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift
• Work in various environments including adverse outdoor conditions such as cold, rain, or heat
• Use mops, cleaning solutions, water, and foam hoses, scrub pads, brushes, brooms, hand tools, and personal protective equipment as required.
