ITP Manager Job at Cimarron Casino Enterprise
SUMMARY:
Along with the General Manager, rResponsible for the successful overall direction, administration and coordination of all activities at the Travel Plaza, in accordance with the policies, procedures and objectives established by the Cimarron Casino Enterprise and with the ultimate objective to provide the maximum profit and return on investment. Ensures a maximum level of guest service and satisfaction throughout the property is achieved and maintained.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Oversees daily store operation, supervise employees and manage inventory
- Creates, develops and implements an effective organizational strategy, setting clear and attainable goals.
- Ensures the quality of management operations in all areas of the Ioway Travel Plaza.
- Establishes performance and profit objectives for short-term and long-term goals.
- Assists in maintaining the appropriate staffing levels by interviewing, selecting, evaluating, promoting and disciplining along with the Human Resource Department.
- Regularly reviews and evaluates ITP Employee performance, to take the appropriate steps necessary to resolve unsatisfactory results or conditions.
- Works closely with the appropriate department managers with regard to various aspects of Travel Plaza operations.
- Reviews departmental reports, addressing potential conflicts and/or misinformation.
- Facilitates the flow of information throughout the property, and develops effective procedures and controls, by organizing and presiding over regularly scheduled meetings.
- Held accountable, to the highest degree, for the accuracy and thoroughness of property records and reports.
- Recommends revisions, updates and recommends new Travel Plaza Policy and Procedures to the General Manager and CCE Board.
- Responsible for approval of financial expenditures within CCE guidelines. Must be able to reconcile all daily cash activities.
- Ensures compliance with all Travel Plaza policies, procedures, appropriate Tribal, federal, state, and local laws and regulations, as applicable.
- Provides for the fair and equitable treatment of all ITP employees.
- Maintain safety and security of the store, properly documenting incidents that occur
- Ensure compliance with all local, state and federal laws within the scope of the convenience/food store operations.

SUPERVISORSY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Directly supervises all store front employees. Indirectly supervises the activities of all employees who work on the property.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors degree from a four-year college or university, or four to six years related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Five (5) to Ten (10) years experience in the retail and/or gaming industry required. Minimum of three (3) years management experience required. Must possess excellent communication skills, and effective public speaking skills.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or Employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
